Creating your poster
- How is my poster made?
- You upload a photo of a place that matters to you, our AI studio transforms it into an artist edition poster with a style of its own, then you add the title of your choice. You approve the preview before ordering: no surprises when it arrives.
- What photo should I use?
- Any photo taken with your phone works, as long as it is sharp. All formats are accepted: the image is cropped to the poster’s 3:4 portrait ratio. Photos with a clear subject (a landmark, a street, a landscape) give the most striking results.
- Can I use a photo I found online?
- No. You must be the author of the photo or hold the rights to use it. It is a condition of our Terms of Sale, and it is what makes your poster truly personal.
- Can I see the result before paying?
- Yes. The preview of your stylized poster appears in the editor before any order. You only pay if you love the result.
Printing and delivery
- What paper is my poster printed on?
- Silk 170 gsm, the weight used for gallery posters: matte, dense, glare free, ready to frame. Each poster is printed on demand by our print partner, at a facility in the US.
- What sizes and prices do you offer?
- Two sizes: 12 × 16 in at $19.90 and 20 × 28 in at $29.90. Shipping is billed at carrier cost ($12.00 for the 12 × 16 in, $13.00 for the 20 × 28 in) and shown before payment.
- How long does delivery take?
- Count 5 to 7 business days from order to your door. Your poster is printed in the US, and you receive a tracking email as soon as it ships.
- How is my poster shipped?
- By tracked home delivery, straight to your door, in reinforced packaging designed to protect the print. You can follow your package every step of the way.
- My poster arrived damaged, what should I do?
- Write to contact@myplaceposter.com with a photo of the issue: we reprint and reship your poster. A personalized poster cannot be returned, but it must arrive flawless.
The gallery and your rights
- What is the community gallery?
- After your purchase, you can publish your design in the public gallery so others can order a print of your place. It is optional: your poster can stay strictly private.
- Is my photo moderated?
- Yes, every image goes through automatic moderation at upload, and every design published in the gallery is reviewed. Inappropriate content is rejected.
- Can I cancel my order?
- Once payment is confirmed, printing starts quickly. Contact us as soon as possible at contact@myplaceposter.com: if printing has not started, we cancel and refund.
